COVID-19 highlights the acute need for non-invasive, point-of-care, remote monitoring

hemodynamic measurement solutions. Find out how CPS meets the need.

THE NEXT GENERATION hemodynamic platform

HOW IT WORKS

The Sensydia Cardiac Performance System™ (CPS) is the only hemodynamic monitoring platform that is trained to gold-standard accuracy in a non-invasive system. This clinical breakthrough is enabled by:

SENSORs

Broad-band, proprietary acoustic and ECG sensors.

DATA ACQUISITION

Acoustic and ECG signals are collected and analyzed for temporal, electrical and spectral characteristics identified from a decade of research and development.

ALGORITHMS

Proprietary machine learning derived algorithms use the validated temporal, electrical and spectral classifiers to provide validated hemodynamic measurements.

CALIBRATION

Using machine learning, CPS can be trained to almost any standard measurement and methodology.

Cloud-Based

The CPS reports measurement results in real-time and sends them to the cloud.

Sensydia CPS Clinical Device

DESIGNED TO SIMPLIFY HEMODYNAMIC MEASUREMENT

Designed to deliver gold-standard accuracy enabled by sensor design, advanced signal processing, and machine learning

GOLD STANDARD ACCURACY

Non-Invasive

system

Our safe and versatile design is suitable for the ICU, ER, operating room, clinic, office, and even home care settings

BROAD MEASUREMENT CAPABILITY

The CPS provides multiple measurements in a single platform, including Cardiac Output, Pulmonary Artery Pressure, and Ejection Fraction

EASY TO

USE

The CPS can be deployed in minutes with minimal learning curve

LOW CAPITAL

EQUIPMENT COST

The system is low-cost and light-weight, with minimal footprint to facilitate adoption

Towards

Detection

& Prediction

With Sensydia’s unique signal processing and machine learning approach, the CPS platform can be taught new hemodynamic measurement capabilities, allowing medical professionals to gather even more information on cardiac function in a single session.

While our initial development efforts are focused on providing new non-invasive hemodynamic measurement capabilities and improving accuracy in high-need populations, future iterations of the CPS will build on these capabilities with automated screening programs that detect critical cardiac anomalies and predict patient outcomes at the point of care.

OVERCOMING LIMITATIONS OF EXISTING SOLUTIONS

Today, providers are forced to choose between hemodynamic measurement methods that are accurate but invasive, or methods that are noninvasive but inaccurate.

The CPS overcomes these critical limitations by providing gold-standard accuracy in a noninvasive, portable system.

Right Heart

CATHETERIZATION

The gold standard for measuring Cardiac Output and Pulmonary Artery Pressure, but not ideal due to high cost and added risk of invasive catheterization.

NON-INVASIVE CARDIAC OUTPUT SYSTEMS

Non-invasive systems have been developed to monitor Cardiac Output, but accuracy limitations preclude their use from all but low-risk patient populations.

ECHO SONOGRAPHY

Can be used to measure Ejection Fraction and estimate Pulmonary Artery Pressure, but quantitative accuracy is highly operator dependent.

REMOTE READY

Sensydia CPS iPad Display

CPS is the only platform that can provide Cardiac Output, Pulmonary Artery Pressure, and Ejection Fraction measurements in a portable, point of care system. Unlike any hemodynamic measurement system before it, CPS can be sent home with patients and is easy enough to deploy during telemedicine visits with on-screen guidance from a physician.

Data remotely collected by CPS can be transmitted back to the physician, allowing them to monitor cardiac performance and make informed care decisions in lieu of office or hospital visits.

CPS has tremendous advantages during the COVID-19 crisis where patients with heart and pulmonary conditions are particularly vulnerable to coronavirus and cannot miss routine care. CPS allows them to be safely tested at home or away from infected populations.
